VN-Index closed at 1074 points

The VN-Index gained 25.23 points Friday to close at 1074.55.

A human error interrupted trading at the Ho Chi Minh City stock exchange Friday morning, the second time in as many months.

58 stocks gained and 21 lost. Several blue chips gained by the maximum allowed 5% – like Vinamilk, infrastructure developer SJS, and Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering.

Banking stock Sacombank edged down by 1,000 VND to 95,000 VND while IT giant FPT gained by 10,000 VND to close at 630,000 VND after losing 25,000 VND the previous session.

Trading volume was 7.34 million shares and turnover 823 billion VND (51.2mi0 US$), a fall of 537 billion VND.
