Stock indexes record slight decreases

Trading sessions on June 22 again witnessed slight decreases of stock indexes in both the Ho Chi Minh City's bourse and its Ha Noi-based counterpart.

By closing, the VN-Index made a slight dip of 0.74 points to finish at 1033.69 points.

Nearly 5.69 million shares, worth over 660.19 billion VND, were traded in Ho Chi Minh City during the day. The market saw 58 shares record gains, 29 remain the same and 22 fell.

Tay Ninh Cable Car Tour (TCT) continued its upward trend by tacking on 7,000 VND to its listed prices, while red-hot Binh Dinh Mining Company (BMC) cooled slightly after recording massive increases over the last month.

At the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre, the HaSTC also declined slightly by 3.09 points to close at 299.77 points.

Blue chips Asia Commercial Bank (ACB), Saigon Securities (SSI), Bao Viet Securities (BVS), Hai Phong Securities (HPC), were among the 56 shares to lose value on the day.
The day saw 931,000 shares worth 97.8 billion VND change hands.
