Viet Nam Maritime Bank has just been allowed to increase their first phase’s capital of 2007 from 700 billion VND (43.75 million USD) to 1 trillion VND (93.75 million USD) by the State Bank of Viet Nam.
According to the 15 th annual shareholder’s meeting, the bank’s capital will also be increase by 2 trillion VND (125 million USD) during the second phase at the end of the year.
The bank will use the increase of capital to expand their commercial activities, enhance competitiveness and integrate into international banking network.
