OTC to double size

Vietnam's over-the-counter stock market is set to double in size next week with the debut of Asia Commercial Bank, the country's fifth-largest bank.

ACB, valued on unofficial markets at $737 million will list all its 110 million shares on Hanoi's OTC market next Tuesday. ACB had set a debut price of VND105,000 ($6.5) per share, its prospectus said. ACB has forecast a 55.8 percent jump in 2006 gross profit to VND600 billion ($37.4 million). Its assets are expected to rise to $2.6 billion by the year-end.
